What type of products do you use?

All beauty services include professional-grade makeup and hair products that we know and trust to deliver premium quality benefits that will survive any event and photograph beautifully. We do not limit ourselves to a single brand: We carry a variety of the best products available. Some of our favorites include Dior, HourGlass, NARS, viseart, and Beauty by Danessa Myricks.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

We do not offer airbrush makeup. We place a huge emphasis on creating beautifully dimensional skin, and believe that traditional makeup has proven to be the best way to do so.

How should myself and my bridesmaids arrive for services?

We ask that everyone receiving services morning of the event, arrive with freshly clean & dry hair, as well as freshly cleaned faces with no makeup or products.

When should I schedule my preview/consultation with you?

Whenever is most convenient for you! It’s always helpful to schedule this on a day when you are going to a special occasion or photo shoot so you can see how the hair and makeup hold up and photograph.

Do you provide services for larger wedding parties?

Yes! If in need of more than 8 services, an additional artist is required and will be added to keep the beauty prep within a reasonable timeframe. I will take care of all correspondence and arrangements for our team. My assistants have been carefully selected and trained to provide the same level of quality and professionalism associated with my brand. The additional artist upgrade is $350/per artist.

Do you provide all products, including lashes, for each makeup service?

Absolutely! All makeup applications are rendered with high end beauty products from our kits, and finished with a beautiful set of false lashes. 

How long do you take to provide each service?

On average we spend 45 mins on any given service. The more dramatic the look, the more time it may take. Our brides go last, and we spend about one hour per service to insure that they do not feel rushed and are picture perfect. If more than 8 total services (hair is one service, makeup a second) are needed, additional artists will be required to keep your beauty prep within a reasonable timeframe.

Do you provide services for out of town brides or destination weddings?

Absolutely! We recommend scheduling your preview when you are in town for wedding arrangements. We can also do your preview for your rehearsal dinner — perfect for pictures.

Do you have travel fees?

Travel fees are included in all services within the Birmingham area. Any additional mileage will be charged at a rate of $0.56 per mile and added to your invoice total. All tolls, valet, and parking costs must also be covered. Relocations (any situation in which the hair/makeup station is packed up and moved to a second location) are $50 per artist.
For destination weddings, I ask for the round trip coverage of flights, accommodations (minimum 2 nights), and rental car.

Do you book your hotel or should we?

We can take care of booking all hotels, flights, and rental cars - less for you to worry about! If you blocked off a hotel, and prefer for us to stay there, we are happy to do so, you can just let us know.

Do you offer hair and makeup trials?

Consultations are not included in the bridal packages, but are an encouraged add on service. Appointments take place either at my studio or on location for an additional travel cost. Consults are available Monday -Thursday.

How far in advance should I book with you?

Whenever you are ready! Although, all of our services are booked on a first come first serve basis. Our brides typically book anywhere from 6 months to a year in advance. In short, the earlier you inquire the more likely we are available to serve you on your wedding day.

How do I reserve my wedding date?

A signed agreement along with a non-refundable retainer of $250 is required. All weddings are booked on a first come, first serve basis until that point.
